Today an article about my photography in Foam Magazine was put online. You can read that by clicking here: foam magazine.com

the article is probably the nicest one (close runner up/possible tie is the one written by cameraluv!) that has been written about me. I was in a wonderful mood all day after reading this. 


This week I’m going to try to take a picture every single day. Some will be style shots, some might be conceptual, some will be of others even. I’m just testing this out to see if I can handle doing it, and if so, then I’ll start working towards a 365 series with these pictures being the first. Anyway, my look for today will be number 1/7, or maybe one of 1/365 depending on how this goes! I’m hoping to do a wide variety of things though, but one of the main reasons I wanted to do the project is to make myself shoot more for the blog since I know we are slacking!

Sorry also for missing last weeks thrift thursday! I’ll try to make this week extra good to make it up to you! :)

Today was my second attempt at shooting a photograph everyday all week. I almost missed out because I took at a nap from 3-5pm, and the sun sets around 5! so the minute I woke up, I grabbed my camera, drove down 2 minutes to this spot away from my dorms, and quickly shot these before it the sun was gone.

I’m thinking it’s more and more likely that I’ll be able to do a 365 project. I think as long as I FORCE myself to shoot everyday at a certain time, then I’ll get into the habit of it and it won’t be so bad, so that is my goal!

The weather has been perfect here in Georgia, sitting in the mid 60s! I’m hoping this weekend I can spend some time at the park and do a lot of shooting for my class.

I’m off to go to the library now! I attend school at the Savannah College of Art and Design and I recently discovered that in our library, we have a million issues of vintage/international Vogue. I’m going to scan in my favorites for inspiration and I’ll post the best on here later for you all to see!
